William John
Hartman
March 19, 1974 – April 14, 2026
William Hartman, born on March 19, 1974, in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on April 14, 2026, in Livonia, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew him.
William lived a life marked by steady dedication and a strong sense of responsibility. He was a very hard worker who began working at the age of 14 and never stopped. He was never late for work, always on time. Through the years, he built a reputation for dependability and perseverance, and he carried those qualities into every part of his life. He worked as a manager in a designer door company, where his commitment and work ethic were evident to coworkers and those around him. William took pride in doing his best, and he approached his work with the same sincerity and determination that defined his character.
Above all else, William was a caring and loving father. He loved his children deeply and was a great dad who made it a priority to be an influence in their lives. He taught them the core family values that he believed mattered most, and he led by example through his actions, his words, and his support. His children will remember him not only for what he provided, but for the love, guidance, and strength he gave so freely. His family was the center of his world, and his influence will continue to live on through them for generations to come.
William was also known for his generous spirit and his willingness to help others. He loved to help people and was always ready to lend a hand to neighbors and anyone in need. His kindness was genuine, and his helpful nature made a lasting difference in the lives of many. He did not seek recognition for his good deeds, but those who knew him understood how much care he put into looking after others. His presence brought comfort, and his actions reflected a life lived with compassion and humility.
He found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life, especially time spent outdoors. William liked being outside and took great satisfaction in working on his yard. He enjoyed camping and sleeping outside, finding peace in nature and in the quiet moments it offered. These interests reflected his appreciation for hard work, fresh air, and the beauty of the world around him. Whether he was tending to his yard or spending time under the open sky, he was at home in the outdoors and found happiness in those peaceful pursuits.
William is survived by his mother, Deborah Campbell; his children, Mariah Hartman, Brooklynn Hartman, Hunter Hartman, Isaac Hartman, and Zachary Fleury; his grandchildren, Ainsley, Aria, and Levi; and his siblings, Heather Hartman, William (Amanda) Connolly, Wes Hartman, Percilla Hartman and Ryan Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his father, William Hartman. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory and honor the life he lived.
Those who knew William will remember his strong work ethic, his loving heart, and his devotion to family. He was a man who gave of himself in practical ways and in quiet moments, and his life was a reflection of loyalty, perseverance, and care. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
