William Eugene
Beaty
Sep 22, 1976 — Jun 29, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of William "Bill" Beaty, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family. Above all else, Bill was a family man. He loved his family more than anything in the world, and the time he spent with them was what he treasured most.
Bill is survived by his beloved life partner, Gina Cerrito; his children, Jeffrey (Kaitlyn Brashear) Beaty and Talia (Aleaha DeFrain) Beaty; his cherished granddaughter, Penelope Beaty; his brother, Mike (Annette) Beaty; along with Gina's siblings; his nieces and nephews, Ellen Beaty, William Beaty, Alec Manders, Ally Manders, Natalie McCaig; and his faithful English Bulldogs, Hank and Nugget, with the comforting thought that he is once again alongside his beloved Mack who brought him endless companionship and joy.
Known as the chef of the family, Bill took great pride in bringing people together around the table. His famous pasta salad and Caesar salad were staples at every family gathering and became favorites that no one could quite replicate. He was also the family's grill master, known for perfectly grilling steaks, smoking brisket, and just about anything you could barbecue. Whether cooking a meal, sharing stories, or making everyone laugh, Bill had a way of making every gathering feel special.
Bill was a dedicated businessman and the proud owner of his own roofing company. He was respected not only for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship but also for the way he treated those around him. He was an incredible boss whose employees admired and appreciated him. Many considered him more than an employer-they considered him a friend and mentor. His determination and skill were evident in all that he did, including designing and building his own homes, a testament to his vision, talent, and perseverance.
Those who knew Bill will remember his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to make people laugh and could brighten any room with his personality.
His kindness, authenticity, and humor made him someone who was loved by everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Bill was passionate about health, fitness, and wellness. He believed in taking care of himself and approached life with energy and enthusiasm.
He especially loved spending time in Presque Isle, where he proudly owned the family lake house. He found peace and happiness surrounded by nature. It was more than just a home, it was his peaceful retreat. He found joy in the outdoors, made countless memories with family and welcomed loved ones to enjoy the beauty of the lake alongside him. Whether relaxing, enjoying the fresh air, or hiking, those were the moments he treasured most.
Bill had a passion for the open road and the outdoors. He took great pride in his motorcycle, boat, side-by-side and in any vehicle he owned.
At the end of the day he enjoyed unwinding with his music, and his favorite true crime programs, especially Dateline, and could often be found captivated by the latest mystery.
Bill's life was defined by his love for family, dedication to his work, generosity toward others, and the ability to bring laughter wherever he went. He leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished by those who loved him. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
