Virginia Kunkle (Bird) passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 84 in Westland, Michigan.  She was born on March 8, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Anthony and the late Alice Bird.

Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and dog Touie. She often played bingo with her friends.  She also enjoyed working in her yard and doing home improvement projects.  She was very proud her beautiful geraniums in her garden.

Virginia was a member of St. Richards Catholic Church for more than 50 years.

Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Gerald "Jake" for 42 years.  She is survived by Daughter, Trina (Mark) Leright, Son, Christopher Kunkle, Grandson, Ryan (Samantha) Leright, Granddaughter, Alyssa (Jacob) Main, Sister-in-Law; Alice Bakszyk, and nieces Karen Kunkle, Linda (Ted) Alderman, Valerie (Ron) Baker and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Kunkle, and siblings; Ray Baksyzk, Albert Bird, William Bird, Clarence Bird, and Harry Bird.
