Victoria Porter-Wood passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 73 in New Boston, Michigan.  She was born on June 2, 1949 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Dr. Robert and the late Dorothy.  Victoria was the beloved wife of David Ellis Wood.  Loving mother of  Elvis Wood, Tina Wood, Michelle Robinson, Timothy David (Gayle) Marshall, Terri Faye (Mark) Nicosia, Andrew Wood,  Chris Wood, Elizabeth Anne (James Culver) Marshall, and the late Bobby Porter-Marshall.  Cherished grandmother of Austin Nicosia, Allyson Culver, Savana (John) Nicosia, Anton (Natalie) Nicosia, Grace Marshall, Olivia Marshall, and T.J. Marshall. Dear great-grandmother of Kehlani Price, Roman McCutcheon-Nicosia,and A.J. Nicosia.  Victoria is also survived by her nephews; Bobby C. Porter, III, and Billy Ray Porter, and their children Bobby Porter, Brooklyn  Porter, Chance Porter, Caitlyn Porter, Connor Porter, Tristan Porter, and Carter Porter.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bobby C. Porter.

On passing, Vicky was only feet from the children she lived for. Despite mobility issues her last years were spent surrounded by action and frequent trips to lake Erie. She spent many hours beside a wood fire with her husband enjoying classic and modern movies and reruns. She will be remembered as the Mom who left the door and pantry open for any of her kids and any of their friends, day or night. The family that survives her will forever have a void that was once filled with her unyielding love, but will be comforted by the many years of feeling that love.

Her kind heart and loving nature will be deeply missed.
