Tim
Collins
July 7, 1958 – September 20, 2023
Ralph "Tim" Collins was born on July 7, 1958, in Morristown, Tennessee. Surrounded by family and friends, he departed this life and entered into his eternal home on September 20, 2023, at the age of 65 in Wayne, Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Dorothy Collins.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Bethann Antonosanti-Collins; two daughters, Ashley (Christopher) Horn, special grandson, Collin Horn, and Alexandria "Ali" (Joshua) Collins-Bunch; brother Jeremy "Jerry" Collins; his church family at Connection Church; a host of friends; and his two pups, Gracie and Bella, who mourn his passing.
Tim was extraordinarily gifted in the field of sound and audio production, and we can rest in the knowledge that he is finally experiencing "perfect sound" in the presence of his Savior. His career spanned decades where he worked as an audio\technical director, purchaser, and sound engineer with impressive credits such as Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede and the Dollywood Celebrity Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN; World Changers Church in Atlanta, GA, and Renfro Valley in Mount Vernon, KY.
He previously owned and managed a recording studio and sound installation business. He also once held the record for the fastest production load-out at Madison Square Garden. He was Project Manager for Presidential and Vice Presidential rallies and had security clearance with the White House and Secret Service. Most recently, Tim was the Technical Arts Director at Connection Church in Canton, MI, and was the Purchasing Manager at Portable Church Industries out of Troy, MI. He was truly irreplaceable.
He was a gifted musician who played bass guitar since childhood and traveled with artists Gospel Acts, The Waymakers, and Lois Jane.
Tim was a true southern gentleman and encourager who is remembered for his Christ character, humor, quiet strength, and positivity. He was professional, meticulous, organized, and had the ability to fix anything—he was telling the truth when he said he learned a lot from watching the television show MacGyver.
Tim's friends and family look forward to seeing him again in Heaven one day and hearing his familiar greeting, "Hey guys!!"
