Terrence "Terry" Patrick Tarr, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 in Livonia, Michigan. He was born in Coldwater, Michigan, to the late William and Anita Tarr.
Terrence shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Glenda Tarr. Together they built a loving home centered on family, faithfulness, and companionship. He found joy in simply being with Glenda, whether they were sharing life's adventures or accomplishing everyday tasks together. Their enduring partnership was a source of strength and happiness throughout his life.
He was the devoted father of Stephen (the late Noelle) Tarr, Diana (Bryan) Nagorcka, and Elizabeth "Beth" (Thomas) Codd. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Gareth, Hannah, Ezra, Freddy, and Anastasia "Ana," who brought him great joy and pride.
Terrence enjoyed reading and had a lifelong appreciation for learning. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing the guitar and found pleasure in music. Above all, he was a family man who treasured time spent with those he loved. Whether gathered for special occasions or simple family visits, he cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Those who knew Terrence will remember him as a quiet man with a kind heart. Though soft-spoken, he was always friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful toward others. His gentle nature, warm smile, and steadfast love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Terrence leaves behind his loving wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and many friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
