Steven VanMeter passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 64 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  He was born on March 6, 1959 in Westland, Michigan to the late Charles and Dorothy VanMeter.  Steven is survived by his wife of 36 years, Pam VanMeter; children, Lori Ann, Nathan (Mekala), Tasha (Darryl), Robert, Gary Lee; grandchildren, Jessica, Krisii, Marcus, Tyler, Faithanne, Izaiah, Leilani, Gabrielle, Joshua, Baylee Jade: great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Athena, Scarlett, Autumn; and siblings, Henry (Yvonne), Donna, and Gina (Bob).  He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Christine, son, Anthony, granddaughter, NaKita, grandson, Kayden, brother, Robert, sister, Sharon, and sister, Bonnie.

Steven was an outdoorsman.  He loved to hunt and fish.  He also enjoyed watching the Nascar races. Steven was a jokester.  He made sure everyone left his presence happy. His sense of humor and loving nature will be deeply missed.
