Sharon L. Gipson nee Coleman was born on January 4, 1954 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  She passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 68 in Wayne, Michigan.  She was raised in Wayne and graduated from Wayne Memorial High School.  On July 3, 1976, she married the love of her life, James H. Gipson.  Together they built a life full of love and raised two beautiful children, Jamie and William.  Most of her career was spent working in quality control oversight in manufacturing, however, her favorite job was being a grandma.

In her free time, Sharon had an extreme love and compassion towards animals.  She was always giving what she could to any organization in need.  Sharon always thought about others, especially her family.  Any time she saw something in the store that reminded her of a family member or something she thought they needed, she would be the first to buy it and mail it to them.  She loved sending her family cards and always remembered when it was someone's birthday.  Sharon was loved deeply by her family and friends and she will be dearly missed.

Sharon is survived by daughter, Jamie (Jason) Gipson-Ulrich; son, William (Michelle) Gipson; two granddaughters, Veronica Ulrich, Vanessa Ulrich; sister, Marilyn M (the late Edward) McCall; brother-in-law, Ray Gipson; two sister-in-laws, Gail Gipson, Colleen Gipson; four nephews, William McCall, Shawn McCall, Barry Wayne Gipson, Danny Joe Gipson; six nieces, "like a sister" Sandy Tyo, Mary Stang, Deanna McCall, Debbie Jones, Donna Hicks, Rachael Gipson; many great-nieces and great-nephews.  She is preceded in death by husband, James H. Gipson; father, Melvin Hugh Coleman; mother, Marie Josephine Coleman; "like a son", Kris Gipson; brother, Leroy Coleman; sister, Carolyn Coleman; brother, William Coleman; brother, Dennis Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Sharon's name to the ASPCA.
