Sandra was the beloved wife of the late Estes Dobozy, who predeceased her in love and life. She was the devoted daughter of the late John McBain and the late Mary Woods, carrying forth their legacy of kindness and strength. As a mother, she lovingly raised her daughter, Barbara (Wayne Nesbit Jr.) Dobozy, instilling in her the values of compassion and resilience. Sandra was a dear sister, survived by Robin Brennan and preceded in death by John McBain II, Sally Barton, Guy Woods, and Fay Elizabeth Woods. Her family was a source of immense pride and joy throughout her life.
For over three decades, Sandra served with distinction in the Wayne-Westland School District as a paraprofessional in special education. Her unwavering commitment to the students and her colleagues earned her respect and admiration. Sandra's patience and gentle guidance touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on the community she served.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sandra was a passionate 4H leader for 30 years. Her involvement with horses was not just a hobby but a significant part of her life. A dedicated Catholic, Sandra's faith was a cornerstone of her existence.
