Rose Marie Lundy, age 98, passed away March 18, 2023 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove, WI. Born in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada, on October 16, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Ellen Dupuis.  She came to the United States at the age of 5 and attended schools in the Detroit area.

In 1942 she married Lee (Tred) Lundy. They were married for 67 years. He preceded her in death in 2009. She spent much of her life as a housewife raising 6 children. After her children were grown she worked a short time in a factory and then worked in her son, Brian's, greenhouse business. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and was an avid reader and a fan of Jeopardy. She loved playing Euchre any time her family would get together. She moved to Wisconsin in 2015 to live with and later to be cared for by her daughter until her death.

She was a member of the Van Born Baptist Church and had been a long time active member of Trinity Reformed Church before it closed.

She is survived by her children James Lundy, Marilyn (Eugene) Routheaux, Nadine (Danny) Mann, Ralph (Vanessa) Lundy, and Brian (Sandy) Lundy. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren and 11 Great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Ellen Reeves, daughter in-laws Judi Lundy and Carol Lundy, son in- laws Richard Routheaux, Russel Reeves and James Sluss, Grandchild Jimmy Sluss, and Great grandchild Stephanie Lundy. She was also preceded in death by six siblings: Art Dupuis, Winfred Dupuis, Alice Allen, Florence Fortin, Edna Bechtol, and Mary Gorton. Funeral services will be held at  Uht Funeral Home, 35400 Glenwood Road,  Westland, Michigan 48186. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm with a memorial service at 6:00 pm.
