Ronald James Crane was born on September 4, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age of 62 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
Ron graduated in 1977 from Riverview High School. He had two daughters as a young man: Corina and Tanina. He was a manager at many different restaurants throughout his life, but most notably the Sign of the Beefcarver where he met the love of his life, Katherine. They got married on August 8, 2003 and together they built a life full of love and laughter. Ron and Katherine had three children: their angelic Abigail, Colyn, and Brody. He loved his family dearly and always put them first. Ronald was the anchor of his family that held everyone together; he would tell them to "B Positive!" even when things got tough with his health in his later years. He was loved deeply and will be missed terribly. Ron was a sports lover and a U of M fan through and through- Go Blue!
Ronald is survived by wife, Katherine Crane; two sons, Colyn Crane, Brody Crane; two daughters, Corina Crane, Tanina Crane; brother, Daniel Crane; sister, Sheila Crane; In-Laws, Joseph (Mary) Suda; brother-in-law, John (Loretta) Suda; sister-in-law, Michelle Suda; four nieces, Chelsea, Rachelle, Sondra, Ella; nephew, Colton; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and faithful companions, Maizen, Luna, Karma, and Bear. He is preceded in death by father, Horace James Crane, mother, Helen Glenice Crane, and daughter, Abigail Crane. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards Ron's children's educational fund. Please deliver or mail donations to 35400 Glenwood Road Westland, MI 48186 c/o Katherine Crane. Memorial contributions may also be made in Ron's name to the American Kidney Fund.
