Richard Kolody passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 78 in Wayne, Michigan. He was born on January 11, 1946 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Richard is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne Kolody. He is also survived by his children, Michelle Kolody, Kimberly Kolody,, Frank (Dana) Kolody, and Krystal (Frank) Godlesky; 7 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Olga Madion, father, George Madion, daughter, Karin Kolody, and brother, Robert Hix.

Richard was a busy, hard working man. He just moved from one job to the next, and loved it. He loved driving and being on the open road, as well as relaxing and taking time out for fishing. His loving heart will be deeply missed.
