Rena Inez Wright, age 86, of Westland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026 with family by her side.

Born on October 12, 1939, in Richmond, Virgina. Inez carried her southern roots with her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arvil Wright, with whom she shared a love, devotion, and family. She has been reunited in the arms of many family members that have also preceded her in this life.

Inez was a loving and devoted mother to her eight children, a proud grandmother to many grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in seeing the generations grow around her. Her home was always a place of warmth, comfort, and welcome.

She could often be found relaxing at home watching one of her favorite game shows or listening to her cherished gospel music. Her faith, quiet strength, and steady presence were constant in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Inez will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her gentle spirit, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
