Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Randy Steven Blackburn, a beloved husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend. Randy was born on February 9, 1955, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and he left this world peacefully on June 2, 2026, in Wayne, Michigan, surrounded by the love of his family.

Randy was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Married to his dear wife, Marie Blackburn, since January 23, 1993, Randy found joy in their deep bond, which blossomed from years of friendship. Their relationship was a testament to true love and friendship, and together, they created a warm and loving home.

As a hard worker, Randy dedicated over 30 years to Ford, where he took pride in his work and paved the way for his sons, William, and Justin, who followed in his footsteps at the same company. His strong work ethic and unwavering support were guiding lights for his family.

Randy was known for his love of life. He had a passion for auto shows, proudly showcasing his red 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. He was a big fan of NASCAR and had an impressive collection of racing memorabilia. In addition, his wide array of M&M collectibles brought a playful joy to his home.

Camping trips were a family tradition; Randy loved exploring the great outdoors with his family, creating countless memories across the country. He also had a knack for enjoying the excitement of casino trips, always ready to indulge in a bit of fun.

In celebrating Randy's life, we remember his openness, kindness, and the way he was always there for those who needed him. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Randy is survived by his loving wife, Marie; his sons, Steve (Nicole), William, and Justin (Megan); grandchildren Maria, Cerynise, Aireanna (Daniel), Davina (Tony), Jaystin, Ryley, Randy, Eleanor, and Emerson; great-grandchildren Aurora, Analaya, Chancellor Jr., Za-veryion, Daniel III, and one on the way; and his brother, Terry(Janice)Blackburn.

All are welcome to come together to celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man who embodied love, joy, and the spirit of family. May he rest in peace, embraced by the love he so freely gave.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Wilson and Lola Blackburn.
