Peter F. Castronova, affectionately called Casanova by many of his colleagues, was born May 5, 1958, to the late Peter and Rosemary Castronova in Detroit, Michigan.

He met his beloved wife, Lynn, when he was 23 years old. They had a 10 year courtship before getting married in December of 1990.

Peter had so many hobbies and interests.  He started with photography when he was still in high school.  He graduated from Osborn High School in Detroit and went on to Wayne State University.

When desktop computers came into the business world, he built his own computers and excelled.  Helping his coworkers and family members with their journey on computers gave him great joy.

He loved outer space and believed that aliens do exist.  His fascination with the heavens led him to pursue astrophotography.  He spent many hours watching YouTube videos about telescopes and NASA.  His favorite TV show was Star Trek and he also loved old space movies.

He enjoyed cooking and was helping his wife learn how to cook.

Peter passed away August 26, 2023 at the age of 65 in Wayne, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, and his brother, Frank (Carol) Castronova.  He also leaves behind many sisters and brothers in-law, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was affectionately known in the family as Uncle Pete.  Thank you, Peter, for all the laughs, great times, and many, many years of love.  Rest in peace my love.
