Penelope Ann Luddecke (née Warner), 79, of Canton, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on September 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Penny was born on December 16, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas, to H.J. and Dorothy Warner. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas and attended Texas Tech University, where she met the love of her life, Ralph Luddecke III. After taking time to raise their family, she completed her degree at the University of Michigan, a testament to her determination and lifelong love of learning.
Penny and Ralph were married on August 26, 1967, at St Ceclia's Catholic Church in Houston, Texas beginning a loving partnership that spanned 59 wonderful years. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to their family.
For 20 years, Penny enjoyed a successful career as a Tupperware Manager. Known affectionately by friends, neighbors, and customers as "The Tupperware Lady," she built lasting friendships through her enthusiasm and genuine care for others. Later, she joined Republic Bank, where she worked in the Mortgage Department until her retirement.
Penny's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother who rarely missed a concert, sporting event, or school activity. She served as a Girl Scout troop leader, volunteered for countless community events, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her.
In her later years, Penny was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wayne, Michigan.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Karyn (Brady) Mahler of Windsor, Ontario; Katie (Chris Haugh) Ragla of Canton, Michigan; and Amanda (Duane) Gimson of Whitmore Lake, Michigan. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Braydon, Jasper, Sydney, and Riley. She is also survived by her sisters, Abby Duffy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Lucinda Warner of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Melissa Pope of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and her brother, Paul Warner of Denver, Colorado. And many nieces and nephews.
Penny was preceded in death by her parents, H.J. and Dorothy Warner, and her brother, John Warner and son-in-law, Rob Ragla
Penny's legacy of love, kindness, generosity, and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
