Peggy Rich (Thurmond) passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 62 in Westland, Michigan.  She was born on August 25, 1960 in a faith filled home in Detroit, Michigan to Natalie Thurmond and the late William Thurmond. Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years Richard M.  Rich. Loving children Crystal (Tommy) Bowling, Rick (Laurie) Rich, II, and Ashley (Patrick) Frey. Adored grandchildren Rilee, Emma, Jackson, Sophia, Justin, Elliott, and Linkin. Dear siblings Steve (Marianne) Thurmond, and Sandy (Don) Dean.  Peggy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Peggy was a devoted family woman.  She loved her husband and children, but especially loved her grandchildren.  It was said, "being a grandma is what she was made for".   She loved to travel. While she traveled all over, Alaska was her favorite destination. Peggy also enjoyed scrap-booking.  She loved capturing memories from her trips and family.

Peggy was a woman of deep faith.  She was the church pianist for many years and enjoyed her involvement in ladies church ministries.

Her faithful heart and loving nature will be deeply missed.
