Paulette Alicia Haniak was born on February 23, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan.  She passed away on November 14, 2022 at the age of 72 in Southgate, Michigan.  Paulette is survived by brothers, Joseph Nick Liberato and Bruce Haniak.  She is preceded in death by parents, Origin and Marion Liberato; birth-father, Paul Haniak; and sister, Carla Wynn Liberato.

Paulette lived in the Reeck AIS Group Home for a large part of her life.  The members and, especially, the staff there became much like family to her.  Carla was a large part of Paulette's life, visiting as often as she could and managing her affairs after Marion's passing. Bruce was also a special person to her, visiting often as well and cheering up Paulette and the other members of the home with pizza and treats. Paulette will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
