Parasram Persaud passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 66 in Westland, Michigan. He was born on December 7, 1956 in Uitvlugt Front, West Coast Demerara, Guyana to Khodai and Permasri Persaud.  Parasram is survived by his children,  Lakesha Persaud, Elissa Persaud, and Jessica Persaud; siblings, Aeshwar (Chandra) Persaud, Hirman Persaud and Harry (Mala) Persaud.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by Khodai Persaud.

Parasram was born in Guyana and moved to Canada in the early 1980s. There, he started his family and had three beautiful daughters.  In the early 2000s, he moved his family to the United States.  Parasram has always been a hard worker and instilled the value of education to his children.  He was a proud mechanical engineer in the automotive industry until his retirement in 2021.

Parasram enjoyed the finer things in life.  He loved to travel and had a high sense of fashion.

He was very social.  Anywhere Parasram went, he knew somebody. He, also, valued his quiet, down time.  Parasram was a big fan of wrestling, WWE.  He loved to eat and could appreciate a good meal, which would then be followed by a nap. He enjoyed listening and dancing to music.  He had an infectious laugh, kind heart and loving nature that will be deeply missed. .

In his honor, we are organizing the final arrangements for our father, Perry.  We would gladly accept any assistance you can give us in helping to finance these final arrangements.
