Pamela Jean
Summerville
March 25, 1958 – February 27, 2026
Pamela Jean Summerville, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, at the age of 67 in Romulus, MI. Born on March 25, 1958, in Dearborn, MI, Pamela's zest for life and her unwavering love for her family defined her every action and interaction.
Pamela's life was a tapestry woven with the love of her devoted husband of 50 years, John Summerville, and their beautiful daughters, Michelle ( the late Michael) Richards and Renee (Joshua) Vaughn. Her legacy continues to shine brightly through her grandchildren, Jaclyn (Mickey) and Briella, as well as her great-grandchildren, Jianna, Dominick, and Dalton. The anticipated arrival of her unborn great-granddaughter, Jade, brought Pamela immense joy in her final days. Her siblings, Stephanie Brown, Larry (Vicki) Flood, and Susan Denton, will remember Pamela for her boundless energy and deep-rooted family values. She was a beacon of light in their lives, guiding them with her wisdom and grace.
Pamela's parents, Edward and Lucille Flood, and her siblings, Denny Bradley, Diane McNeil, and Patrick Flood, who preceded her in death, instilled in her a profound appreciation for the bonds of family. This foundation of love and togetherness was Pamela's most treasured inheritance, one she nurtured and passed on to the generations that followed.
Pamela's competitive spirit was legendary among those who knew her. Whether she was engaged in an online game, an intense bingo session, or a lively card game, she played with a fierce determination to win, all while maintaining her infectious laughter and sense of fair play. Her love for coloring brought out her artistic side, a pastime where she could express her creativity and find moments of tranquility.
Above all, Pamela was known for her loyalty and loving nature. She was the heart of every family gathering and the person who could be counted on in times of need. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy to all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
As we bid farewell to Pamela Jean Summerville, we celebrate a life lived with passion, a life filled with love, and a life that left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Pamela's life was a testament to the beauty of family, the joy of companionship, and the enduring power of love. She will be profoundly missed, but the warmth of her love will remain with us always.
