Michael Walter Sr. was born on January 8, 1951 in Traverse City, Michigan. He passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 70 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Michael is survived by his loving Wife, Cherrie Walter, Daughter, Kimberlee Jones; Son, Michael Walter ll; Three Brothers, John (Nora) Walter, Tom (Cindy) Walter, and Jack (Shannon) Walter; Three Sisters, Josephine Darling, Judy (Gary) McGee, and Kathy (Brian) Purkiss; Four Grandsons, AJ (Chelsea) Jones, Michael Walter III, Zachery Jones, and Cameron Michael Walter; Granddaughter, Kaylee Jones; Three Great-Grandchildren, Emma Klavinger, Rory Jones, and Ava Jones; and many Nieces and Nephews; . He is preceded in death by Father, John Robert Walter and Mother, Elsie June Walter. Michael enjoyed outdoor hunting, gardening, and flowers. He loved birds and he raised and showed pigeons, not the regular ones, the more expensive ones. He was the best cook, and everyone is going to miss his gumbo. But above all he was an amazing grandfather and he loved his grandchildren. He will be missed by many but will always remain close to their hearts.
