It is with heavy hearts and joyous memories that we celebrate the life of Michael James Przytula, born on October 27, 1987, in Ypsilanti, MI. Michael, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 38. He resided in Belleville, MI, where he made countless memories that will forever brighten the lives of those who knew him.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his father, Raymond Przytula, and his mother, Dawn (Bob) Davenport. He leaves behind a cherished family, including his brothers, Tim (Angel) Witten, Ryan (Megan) Przytula, and his sisters, Heather Przytula, Rachell (Donnie) Merriman, and Bridget Egnatowski. Michael was also a proud uncle to Katelyn Maxwell, Abel Maxwell, Lucy Przytula, Ariel Przytula, Khloe Przytula, Ryder Przytula, Declan Merriman, and Rowen Merriman. He was fortunate to have shared memories with his grandparents, Carl and Sandy Witten.
A vibrant spirit, Michael thrived in many passions throughout his life. An accomplished painter in the home improvement industry, he took pride in beautifying spaces for those around him. A devoted member of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) and the U.S. Amateur Pool League (USAPL), Michael poured his heart into shooting pool at his favorite spots, including The Village and Benders in Wayne, The Rack in Livonia, and Lincoln Park Moose.
In addition to his talent on the felt, Michael was an artist at heart who spent his younger years drawing and later expressed himself through rap music, with a number of his songs featured on the airwaves of 97.9. His love for animals, especially his family members' dogs, showcased his compassionate nature and generosity, often stepping in to dog-sit and shower them with affection.
Michael had a distinct love for his collection of Nike shoes. His vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and generous spirit enriched the lives of everyone he encountered, especially his closest friends, Scooter Hunter and the late Ryan Brewer.
Though we mourn the loss of Michael, we find solace in the incredible legacy he leaves behind-a reminder to cherish each moment, celebrate our passions, and love fiercely.
Michael was preceded in death by: sister, Ally Egnatowski, and grandparents: Lee and Mary Przytula
