Michael Patrick Mulroy, AKA "Bluesman", 75, of Wayne, Michigan, passed away at Henry Ford Hospital on April 22, 2021 after a short battle with COVID-19. Michael was born on May 8, 1945 to William and Louise Mulroy in Highland Park, Michigan. While in high school, he landed his first job at Johnson's Bakery. After attending high school, he served 3 years in the US Army, stationed in both Colorado and Korea. After his military service, he became a clerk in the tool crib for Ford Motor Company, where he retired after 42 years. After retiring, Michael spent his time taking up new hobbies to include sailboat racing, neon sign building, gardening, boating, professional kite flying and of course, music. He is survived by his children, Richard Coates and Mishaun Coates, grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Eli and Cash, sister Diane and brothers Larry and wife Linda, Pat and wife Robin, Marty and wife Lori.
