He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Michael was the cherished son of the late Denise Bailow, a beloved husband of 24 years to Julie Bailow, and a proud father to Cody Bailow. As a brother, he shared an unbreakable bond with Theresa Maciag and her husband Andrew, as well as with Erik Lechowicz. As a brother-in-law, he was admired and loved by Reba Dudansky and her husband Rich, Melissa Prater, and Shannon Prater. His role as an uncle to Donovan, Dylan, Savannah and August was filled with memorable adventures and heartfelt guidance. Michael also held a special place in his heart as a son-in-law to the late Donald and Linda Prater. His love for his family was immense, and he was a cornerstone in the lives of those around him.

A man of great humor and candor, Michael's presence was a source of joy and comfort. He was the embodiment of loyalty and generosity, with a personality that could light up any room. His blunt, no-filter approach to life was balanced by his infectious fun-loving spirit, which left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Michael's passion for life was evident in his interests. A dedicated Detroit Lions fan, he never wavered in his support for his team, showcasing the same dedication and encouragement he offered to his son, Cody, in all his endeavors. As an amazing dad, Michael was always there, cheering from the sidelines, providing a steady presence that instilled confidence and love.

His sense of humor was unparalleled, often sharing laughs and bringing smiles to those around him. Michael's love for country music was a testament to his appreciation for storytelling and melody, which resonated with the simplicity and beauty he found in life. An avid hunter, he found solace in the quiet moments amidst nature, fostering a deep respect for the animals and the outdoors.

Michael will be remembered for the love he had for his late dog, Midnight, a reflection of his caring nature and the special bond he shared with animals. His compassion and kindness extended beyond his human connections, touching the lives of all creatures great and small.
