Melissa Renee
Mace
July 27, 1965 – November 7, 2025
Melissa Renee Mace, a beacon of joy and warmth, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 60 in Jackson, Michigan. Born on July 27, 1965, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose vibrant presence uplifted everyone around her.
The daughter of Frank Mace and the late Rosa May Mace, Melissa inherited a hearty laugh and a nurturing spirit that defined her throughout her life. She was the beloved sister to the late Frank Mace Jr., the late George Mace, Bill Wiseman and the late Robin Lynn Mace, sharing with them the kind of close-knit bond that only siblings understand. Her role as an aunt to Robbin Stout, Gunner Stout, Emery Stout, Matthew Karrick, Jesse Wiseman, Cyaria Mcgowen, as well as Alex Karrick, was one she embraced with love and gusto, infusing their lives with her characteristic hugs and infectious cheerfulness
Melissa's life was marked by her love of socializing and her open-hearted approach to everyone she met. She was often described as "bubbly," a trait that made her company a sought-after pleasure. Her hugs were legendary, and she dispensed them freely, ensuring that no one in her presence felt unloved or unappreciated. A lover of swimming and music, Melissa found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was the tranquility of the water or the rhythm of a favorite song.
Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her existence, and she cherished the community and fellowship found within her church. Her devotion was evident in her actions and her dedication to living a life of kindness and service to others.
As we bid farewell to Melissa, we celebrate a life lived with exuberance and a heart that knew no bounds. She was the embodiment of love in action, and her legacy is one of compassion, laughter, and the countless lives she touched with her effervescent spirit. Melissa's memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
We take solace in the belief that Melissa is now at peace. As we navigate the world without her physical presence, we will hold on to the lessons of joy and love she imparted on us all. Melissa Renee Mace's life was a gift, and her story will be told with fondness and a smile by those who loved her for generations to come.
