Mathew E. Laich was born on November 9, 1942 in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.  He passed away on February 14, 2023 at the age of 80 in Wayne, Michigan.

Mathew was a proud Ford employee for 39 years.  There he worked as a repairman for most of his career.  Mathew and his wife, Connie, were married for 58 beautiful years.  Together they had three children: Deborah, Andrew, and Mark.  He will be deeply missed.

Mathew is survived by wife, Connie Laich, daughter, Deborah (Scott) Grefke, two sons, Andrew Laich and Mark Laich, grandson, Ian Kulas, granddaughter, Rachel Grefke, brother, Robin (Sandy) Laich, and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by parents, Martin Edward Laich and Rose Marie Laich, and sister, Anna Golemo.
