Mary Jones (Tanner) passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 100 in Westland, Michigan.  She was born on April 3, 1923 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Delbert and Opal Tanner.  Mary was the beloved wife of Woodrow "Woody" A. Jones for 64 years.  She was the loving mother of Elizabeth (Mark) Urbaniak, Mark Jones, Matthew (Rochelle) Jones, Jonathan (Kim) Jones, and the late Sherwin Jones; dear grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 25, and great-great-grandmother of 1.  She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Morris, and Robert Tanner.

Mary kept her hands busy.  She loved to quilt, knit, and sew.  Mary enjoyed to be whisked away in her books, she just loved her romance novels.  You could also find her relaxing with her crossword puzzles.  She will be deeply missed.
