Marlene Loretta Brandenburg, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 19, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Fredrick and Mildred Warmbier.
Marlene was the beloved wife of Ronald Brandenburg, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. The two were united in marriage at St. John's Lutheran Church, beginning a lifelong journey built on love, devotion, and family.
She was a loving mother to her daughter, Amy (Sean) Iatzko, and a proud grandmother to Noah (Emmaline) Munson and Lexie Iatzko. Marlene was also a cherished sister to Janet (Ron) Gainer, Sandy (Chris) Palmer, and Donald (Evy) Warmbier.
Marlene found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved shopping, spending time up north, watching television, reading, attending arts and crafts shows, and, most importantly, making memories with her family and friends. She had a special fondness for Nerds candy, dark chocolate, and Peeps, all best enjoyed with a strong cup of coffee.
Known for her remarkable work ethic, Marlene was a dedicated employee who rarely, if ever, missed a day of work. She was patient, easygoing, and kind-hearted. Those who knew her often described her as an angel-someone whose gentle nature, warmth, and unwavering love touched everyone around her.
Marlene's legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
