It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Nichole Hayes, age 35, who departed this world on October 17, 2026. Born on November 2, 1990, in Wayne, Michigan, Maria lived a vibrant life filled with love.

Maria was an excellent mother to her three beloved children: Damien (14), Angel (12), and Leighla (9). She poured love and care into every moment spent with them, guiding them through life's challenges and celebrating their many accomplishments. A cherished fiancée to Tony Thomason, Maria's love for her family was evident in everything she did. She will be profoundly missed by her mother, Laura Hayes, her grandmother, Ruth, her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws, who all held a special place in her heart.

Maria is preceded in death by her father, Mark Hayes, her grandfather, Sostenes Jr., her grandmother, Frances, and her uncle, Nicolai. While their loss is deeply felt, we take comfort in the beautiful memories and love they shared with Maria.

Rest in peace, dear Maria. Your light will continue to shine in our memories forever.
