Mack Johnson was born on February 17, 1931 in Senath, Missouri.  He passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 91 in Livonia, Michigan.

Mack was not only a family-man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but also a man of great faith.  He loved his church and listened to gospel music often.  He was a jovial man who loved to share laughter with his family, often leading to tears of joy.  He and his family spent the past few years living in the moment with him as he suffered from Alzheimer's disease.  He enjoyed looking at cars, you could often find him checking out the cars on Michigan Avenue to see what was new on the lots.  Mack was a man of all trades and if you broke it he could surely fix it, even if not in the most conventional of ways.  He was a peaceful and calming presence to everyone he met, and he will be dearly missed.

Mack is survived by daughter, Lisa (Gary) Lemay; two brothers, Avery (Kathy) George, Douglas (Patricia) George; son-in-law, Carl Wixon; four grandsons, Carl (Michiko) Wixon, Matthew (Lindsy) Wixon, Andrew (Emily) Kennedy, Jacob (Broghan) Lemay; four granddaughters, Kathleen Wixon, Kaitlyn (Josh) Kosier, Kayla (Dominic) Garofalo, Lindsay Lemay; eight great-grandsons, Kyle Wixon, Gunner Kosier,  Beckham Kosier, Lucas Kennedy, Everett Kennedy, Graham Lemay, Vincent Garofalo, Zachary Garofalo; and great-granddaughter, Savannah Kennedy.  He is preceded in death by loving wife, Julia Johnson; mother, Zula George; step-father, Avery George; daughter, Vicki Wixon; and sister, Barbara.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in Mack's honor.
