Lois Alma Prater born April 23, 1937 of Canton, Michigan passed away Sunday Jan 8th, 2023 in the hospital after a brief illness. Lois was 86 years young at her passing.  She was of the church of God faith,  and loved and enjoyed watching gospel programs and gospel singing,  being a  shut in,  from a series of falls. Lois remained true to her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, and mother. She loved her family and enjoyed her life when she was able. Lois loved discussing the word of God and often called for prayer when she was in need. Lois is survived by one son, Acie Edward Prater of Canton, Michigan.  He was her caretaker for 40 plus years.  Lois is also survived by four sisters; Ruth A Blankenship, Wanda E Rice, Mary M. Riffe, Hope E. Gilliland, two brothers; Cliff Rose, Allen Rose, and a host of In laws, nieces and nephews. Lois is preceded in death by her husband Acie L.Prater of Majestic, KY, and one son, James K.Prater of Romulus Michigan. Lois is also preceded in death by her parents, Alfred G.Rose and Margaret L.Rose, three sisters; Norma J. Wolford, Loretta M.Gross, Carol S. Franklin, three brothers; Leonard M. Rose, James A. Rose, Darrell J.Rose, and a host of in laws, nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Robinett Cemetery in Stopover, KY.
