It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd Strong, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on October 24, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Kentucky, Lloyd spent his life in the embrace of family and the steadfast rhythm of his Kentucky roots, which he cherished dearly.

Lloyd was the beloved husband of Mary Strong for an incredible 62 years. Together, they built a life filled with love and shared memories, raising their daughter, Lisa Lechevalier, who brought immeasurable joy to their lives. His easy going and laid-back demeanor made him a beloved presence to all who knew him, while his loyalty to family was evident in everything he did.

Having worked as a Hi-Lo driver for Ford Motor Company, Lloyd was dedicated to his profession in the automotive industry, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. However, it was the simple pleasures of life that defined him best: visiting Kentucky every year, playing poker with his brothers, and making cherished memories at the family summer home in Gladwin, Michigan.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his daughter, Lisa (David); and his sister, Lois (Jasper) Hensley. Each of them will carry forward his legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering love.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join together in remembrance and reflection of a man who touched so many lives. In the midst of grief, we will share stories, laughter, and perhaps even a game of poker, as we honor Lloyd's memory.

In all ways, Lloyd Strong will be remembered not just for how he lived, but for the love he freely shared-a gentle soul who will forever remain in our hearts.
