Linda Ann Morton passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026. She was born on May 11, 1946, to the late Carl and Dorothy Morton, who instilled in her the values of dedication, compassion, and faith that guided her throughout her life.

Linda devoted many years to the sport of gymnastics, serving as both a respected coach and judge. She took great pride in mentoring young athletes, encouraging discipline, confidence, and perseverance. Her knowledge, fairness, and passion left a lasting impact on the gymnastics community and on the many lives she touched along the way.

Outside of gymnastics, Linda enjoyed spending time on the golf course and found joy in the friendships and peace the game brought her. She was a devoted member of Friendship Church in Canton, Michigan, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.

Linda was a cherished and loyal friend to Angie and Dave, Kerri, Chrissy, and Barb, who shared many meaningful memories and moments with her. She was also a devoted animal mom, deeply loving her cats, Shemmy and Dusty, and her dog, Fergie, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, strength, dedication, and the quiet but powerful way she touched the lives of others. Her legacy of love, faith, and commitment will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
