With a will of steel and a heart full of fierce love, Linda Kay Fee born February 10 ,1952, fought for every precious moment of life she could hold. She passed away peacefully in her home in Wayne, Michigan, on June 5, 2026, at the age of 74 years young.
Linda's strength was matched only by her devotion to family. First and foremost, she will be remembered as a Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend - roles she carried with grit, warmth, and unwavering loyalty.
She was married to the late Wayne Thompson Sr. for several years, and together they shared 7 of her 11 children. Later, she was happily married and devoted to her late husband Charles Fee for 30 years before his passing in 2018.
She was the beloved mother of Kimberly (Robert) Wade, Wayne Thompson Jr., the late Eric Thompson, Chris (Jessica) Thompson, Lisa (Bert) Brabo, the late Jason Thompson, Mike Thompson, Jessica (John) Coleman, and Charlene (Sony) Juntanam; and stepmother to Charlie (Lisa) Fee Jr. and Andi (Bill Roberts) Fee.
Linda's legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured: loving grandmother to 23, and great-grandmother to 17. She was a dear sister to the late Joyce Carpenter, Sharon (Paul Begin) VerDow, and David (Terry) Staten.
Linda never backed down from a challenge and never let a loved one face one alone. Her kitchen was always open, her advice was always offered, and her love was always certain. She taught her family that strength isn't about never falling - it's about getting up every time, and making sure everyone else gets up with you.
Linda was defined by her role as a mother and loved her children and grandchildren, sharing a unique and special bond with granddaughter Jordyn.
She is now reunited with her sons Eric and Jason, her sister Joyce, and her beloved husband Charles, who she missed every day.
Details for services to honor and celebrate Linda's life will be shared by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you call someone you love, tell a hard truth with kindness, and fight for the good days - just like Linda did.
