Larry "Joey" Hackney III was born on July 2, 1998 in Dearborn, Michigan.  He passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 24 in Wayne, Michigan.

Joey graduated from Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights, Michigan in 2016.  He worked as a roofer for the union.  He was a great older brother to his "lil bro," JT.  He loved to play video games, especially 2K.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Larry is survived by parents, Larry Joe Hackney II and Michelle Marie Fabian, brother, Jerry Tyler "JT" Hackney, three aunts, Danyelle Kimbro, Alicia Hackney, Christine Lilly, two uncles, Donald Fabian, Harvey Frye Jr., grandfather, Donald Fabian, Jr., grandfather, Harvey Frye, and grandmother, Kathy Frye.  He is preceded in death by aunt, Molly Hackney, uncles, Alex Hackney and Ralph Hackney, grandmother, Shirley Fabian, and grandmother, Cindy Hackney-Pierce.
