Larry Casterwiler passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 75 in Detroit, Michigan.  He was born on January 8, 1947 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to the late Alexander and the late Mary Louise.  Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Roberta Casterwiler; Daughters, Mary (Brandon) Hothem, and Darlene (Chris) King; Grandsons, Landen Farr, and Parker Farr; Niece, Brenda Hunter; Nephew, Scott Hunter; and many more nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jeanne Henry, Mary Alice Fisher, Paul "PR" Casterwiler, Ellen Lawson, Sally Hunter.

Larry was a proud grandfather.  He loved, most of all, his grandchildren and loved being their best friend and PopPop.  He was a very giving man. He is a past Master of the Wayne Masonic Lodge and enjoyed being involved with their philanthropic events.  He loved all animals, but especially his german shepherds. His kind heart and loving nature will be deeply missed.

Following services on Friday, December 2, 2022, the family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon at the Wayne Masonic Lodge located at  37137 Palmer Rd, Westland MI, 48186. All are welcome to come.
