Kristin Renee Morris, known affectionately as Kristy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2024, in Taylor, Michigan. Born on June 29, 1973, in Wayne, Michigan, Kristy was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.

Kristy's early years were spent in the embrace of her family, including her late mother Gloria Wade, her father Gary Groves, and her siblings Deanna (Mark) Mullins and Gary (Tracy) Groves Jr. Kristy's own journey as a parent was marked with love and pride for her children, Katlin (Ron) Morris, Zack Morris, Jamie Morris, and Trinity Morris, as well as her cherished grandchildren, AJ, Jaxson, Remi, and Carson.

A proud graduate who earned her high school diploma, Kristy dedicated many years of service as a waitress at Chili's restaurant, where her friendly demeanor and diligent work ethic made her a favorite among both colleagues and customers.

Kristy's interests were as varied as they were joyous. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of playing Candy Crush Saga and other online games, sharing laughter and camaraderie with her many friends. Her love for animals was evident in the special bond she shared with her beloved dog, Chewy.

Described by those who knew her as loving, kind, and friendly, Kristy's legacy is one of unwavering positivity and affection. Her radiant smile and generous spirit will be profoundly missed, but the memories she created will continue to inspire and comfort all who were fortunate enough to know her.
