Kathleen A. Maggio (Hurley) was born on August 11, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan.  She passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 76 in Westland, Michigan.

Kathleen was a proud homemaker, she kept her home in immaculate condition and enjoyed caring for her beloved family.  She often hosted Sunday dinner for her family over the years.  She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She had a passion for the outdoors.  Kathleen was known to feed the squirrels and birds.  Some of her favorite times were spent out in nature, especially up north.  She enjoyed all music, but most notably songs by Ozzy Osbourne.

Kathleen was a loving daughter to parents, Howard and Virginia, and wrote them notes often.  She was also an incredibly caring person to her family, friends, and even strangers.  She enjoyed volunteering at several local organizations in order to help others in her community.

Kathleen is survived by her five children: Alicia (Fred) Covell, Clifford (Lelia) Selvia, Noel (Edward Johnson) Derr-Johnson, Miles Parry, Vickie (John) Soltis; brother, Michael (Judith) Hurley; sister, Maureen (William) Witkowski; twelve grandchildren: Michael (Melanie), Andrew, Clarice, Marlene, Lauren (Josh), Daniel (Amy), Hayden, Delani (Michael), Lydia, Natalie, Maci, and Johnny; and seven great-grandchildren, Alihannah, Levi, Charlotte, Julianna, Freddy, Owen, and Mila.  She is preceded in death by parents, Howard Edward and Virginia Mary Hurley, and sister, Carole Erdman.
