Karon Joyce
Hallam
March 12, 1942 – January 4, 2023
Karon Hallam (Moeser) was born on March 12, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frederick and late Isabel Moeser. She passed away on January 4, 2023 at the age of 80 in Wayne, Michigan.
Karon graduated from Romulus High School in 1960 and married the love of her life, Albert Hallam, shortly after on September 2, 1961. Together they shared over 60 years of love and laughter. Karon and Albert had two children: Tami and Rene. Karon had many hobbies including shopping, crocheting, and reading. She was a member of the Women of the Moose at the Wayne Moose Lodge. Karon was very family-centered. She attended all of her grandchildren's events no matter what they were participating in. Many of her grandchildren's friends adopted her as "grandma" over the years due to her kind and loving nature. Although she was sassy and strong-willed, she had a love for her family and friends like no other. She will be dearly missed.
Karon is survived by husband, Albert Hallam, daughter, Tami (Joseph) Day, daughter, Rene (Daniel) Strong, grandson, Joseph Day (Nina Esho), grandson, Jeffrey Day, granddaughter, Ryleigh Strong (Matthew Kryska), and granddaughter, Karla Strong.
