Karen Marie Pietila was born on January 17, 1964 in Ishpeming, MI to the late John and Dorothea.  She passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2023 at the age of 59.

Karen graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1982.  She then went on to graduate from MTI and worked in accounting/finance.  She loved her Pekingese, those were her babies.  She had 4 over the years.  She loved Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, in particular, Marilyn Monroe and Betty White.  She loved shopping, reading, watching old movies and going for ice cream.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

She was a loving Godmother to Ashley, Loren, Cameron, Tyler, Devon, Jordan, Amanda and many others.  She was the BEST Mummo to Colton and Aubree.

Karen will be so deeply missed by so many cherished friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.
