It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Karen Ann Kopcak, who left this world on April 22, 2026, at the age of 47. Born on March 25, 1979, in Dearborn, MI, Karen was a vibrant soul who lit up the lives of everyone who knew her.
Karen is survived by her loving mother, Joanne Hollenbeck, her beloved life partner, Brian Dec, and her cherished children, Matthew and Violet. She will be deeply missed by her siblings-sister Joy and brothers Mark, Brian (Julie) McKenna, and Kevin (Brandilyn) McKenna -along with her sister-in-law, Marsha Pych. Karen also leaves behind a loving extended family, including her nephews Jimmy(Ashley) and David Hollenbeck, Thomas and Colin McKenna and nieces Alexandra Beach and Elizabeth and Lila McKenna.

To honor Karen's life, we invite all family and friends to come together for a memorial gathering at Uht Funeral Home on May 2, 2026, starting at 11:00 am, followed by a service at 3:00 pm. We encourage everyone to share their memories and celebrate the extraordinary person Karen was.

Let's come together to remember and celebrate Karen's warmth, kindness, and the love she brought into our lives. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
