June was the cherished wife of the late Thomas "Tom" Barreto Sr., with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their children Christine (the late Michael H.) Moore, Barbara Barreto, Mary (Joe) Morgan, and Thomas (Marie) Barreto Jr. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Douglas Moore, Linda Wiggins, Jonathan Morgan, Gregory (Nathalie) Morgan, Joshua (Brittany) Nailor, and Susanna (Joshua) Waddell. Her joy was multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren Brianna Moore, Ryan Wiggins, Sofia Morgan, Landon Dawson, Cody Nailor, Gabriel Waddell, and Sophia Waddell.

June's siblings, Gevonia (Mike) Gorges, the late Bernard Bondy, Raymond Bondy, Rita Cronin, and Lorraine Ferguson, shared in the many chapters of her life's story, each adding their own touch to her journey.

A long-time member of SS Simon and Jude Catholic Church until its closing, June's faith was a cornerstone of her existence.
