It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joan Sylvia Mroz, of Wayne, Michigan, who departed this life on August 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Joan was born on December 21, 1937, and lived a life filled with warmth, love, and cherished memories with her family.

Joan was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Together with her beloved husband, the late Richard Mroz, she had four sons, Richard (Pam), Thomas (Linda), Kenneth, and Daniel (Kimberly) Mroz. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren, Sandra Mroz, Robert Mroz, Krystle (Shi) Schultz, Anthony Mroz, Kevin Reamer, and Amber (Ammar) Mohsen, as well as her great-grandchildren, Tyler Schultz, Emma Schultz, Ethan Mroz, and Ella Schultz. Joan is survived by her siblings, Herbert, Catherine, David, and Judy, who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Joan cherished the time spent with her family, whether it was traveling together, shopping for the best deals, or enjoying lively evenings at bingo and the casino. Her spirit and joy brought light to those around her, and she will be profoundly missed.
