James Young passed away on July 12, 2023 at the age of 84 in Livonia, Michigan. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Coal Creek, Tennessee. He was one of seven children born to the late Kenneth and Beulah Young.   James enjoyed life with his beloved wife, the late Ella "Sue", for just shy of 50 years.  He survived by his children; James Marshall Young, Marsha (Michael) Pych, Ken (Kara) Young, and Angela (Kris) Morgan, grandchildren; Suzanna (Anthony) Bell, Michael Morgan, Jimmy (Ashley) Hollenbeck, David Hollenbeck, Alex Morgan, Dylan Pych and  Aaron Pych and his siblings Wilma Ellis, David (Carol) Young, Betty McClain. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings; Doris Ann Sprankle, Howard Young and Stanley Young.

James was a very loving man, devoted to his family.  Affectionately know as "Alfred", he was especially proud of his grandchildren. He was a good father and a hard worker.  In the summer months, you could find him out on his boat.  Even in the rain, he'd be out there because he just knew it would clear up, and it usually did.  His loving heart and warm nature will be deeply missed.
