Howard Kenneth "Rebel" Taylor was born on August 13, 1936 in Livingston, TN and passed away on October 1, 2020 in Canton, MI. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He spent much of his career in the automotive industry, having retired from General Motors and later with Red Holman Pontiac/GMC in Westland. Rebel will always be remembered for his outstanding work ethic and ability to make friends indiscriminately. He was the proud father of four daughters: Sandy (Robert) Spence, Paula (Peter) Bartlett, the late Karen (John) Clemmons, and Kelly (Craig) Timko. He was also extremely proud of his five grandchildren: Taylor Spence, Grant Spence, Ryan Clemmons, Chase Timko, and Austin Timko. In addition, he is survived by a sister, Judy Szmansky. Rebel was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joyce Carrol Taylor, his father, Bradford Taylor, his mother, Obeth Pack, and his daughter Karen.
