Jeffery
September 11, 1934 – December 28, 2025
Glenn Roger Jeffery, a cherished husband, father, papaw, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan. Born on September 11, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, Glenn's life was marked by his unwavering kindness, infectious humor, and an ever-present charm that captivated all who knew him.
The devoted son of the late Bryan and Gwen Jeffery, Glenn was a man of deep family values, a legacy he carried throughout his life. He met the love of his life, Pat Jeffery, one fateful night roller-skating, and their love story became one for the ages. Married on April 29, 1955, Glenn and Pat were inseparable, setting a beautiful example of friendship and love for all who knew them. Their affection for each other was evident to everyone, and their marriage was a testament to unwavering commitment and joy.
Glenn was a proud father to Michael, Debbie (Bruce) Gaston, and Brian (Alina) Jeffery. He embraced the role of 'girl dad' with open arms, and always supported and cherished all his children. His grandchildren, Melissa, Chelsea (David), Taylor (Lauren), Jorden (Kelly), and Devon (Julie), as well as his great-grandchildren Michael, Grayson, Ella Rose, Benjamin, Hannah, Lucas, Maddie, and Will, brought immense joy to his life. The addition of his great-great-grandson, Shiloh, was a blessing that filled him with pride. Glenn was also a loving brother to his sisters, Virginia and Ernestine, sharing with them countless cherished memories.
Glenn's professional life was marked by a remarkable 35-year career at Ford, where he not only excelled but also formed lasting friendships and associations. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity, dedication, and warmth.
Beyond his professional achievements, Glenn's interests and passions painted the picture of a life well-lived and full of adventure. A true jokester and prankster, he loved to laugh and had an exceptional talent for making those around him laugh as well. His love for motorcycles was more than a hobby; it was a passion that he shared with Pat, as they took memorable trips with friends. Later, his affection for classic cars saw him owning and proudly showcasing them at car shows, sharing his enthusiasm with fellow aficionados.
Glenn's presence was undeniable. Standing tall at 6 feet 1 inch, he carried himself with a grace and elegance that, coupled with his good looks, made him a gentleman in every sense of the word. He was also known for his impressive dance moves, often the highlight of any gathering.
A lucky gambler, Glenn enjoyed the thrill of playing the slots. His good fortune at gambling was a source of playful envy among his friends, but they all knew that his truest luck was in the rich and loving life he built with his family and friends.
Glenn's life was one of joy, laughter, and love. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, charm, and an unwavering zest for life. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will continue to honor his life by living their own to the fullest, just as Glenn did every single day.
