It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Georgina Braun, who departed this life on June 2, 2026, at the age of 79.
Georgina was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and spirited presence in the lives of all who knew her. She lived a life marked by compassion, strength, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Born on March 18, 1947, in Borger Texas, she grew up with a deep appreciation for family, hard work, and resilance. Throughout her life, she touched countless hearts through her warmth, wisdom, and willingness to help others. Whether offering encouragement during difficult times, celebrating life's joys, or simply sharing a meal and conversation, she made people feel valued and loved.
Above all else, Georgina cherished her family. She dedicated herself to nurturing, supporting, and loving those around her. Her greatest pride was the family she helped build and the lasting values she passed on through her example.
Georgina is survived by her children Angel (Scott) Davis, Brandon Braun (Darla Jayne), Cara (Edward) Smith and Deanna (Kevin) Thorne. Georgina is survived by her grandchildren: Bradley MacPherson, Steven (Hanna) Worley, Julia Smith, Jacob (Abby) Braun, Alexandria (Jen) Graczyk-Davis, Melanie Davis, Jeremyah Feltner, Skyler Feltner, and Andrew Thorne. Georgina is survived by her brothers and sisters Lorraine (James) Blackwell, John (Judy) Bartush, Suzanna Stapleton, Gregory (Dorthy) Bartush, Weldon (Jackie) Bartush. She was preceded in death by her parents Gregory and Ruth Bartush, husband Jack Braun and brothers Cornell and Gary Bartush and sister Leah Bartush.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the love she shared, the lessons she taught, and the legacy she leaves behind. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever in our hearts.
