Frank Veresh was born in Delray and raised in Plymouth, Michigan. Spouse of the late Bea Veresh and resident of Westland for over 55 years, Frank was a union steward of the maintenance and housekeeping services at what was called Oakwood Dearborn Hospital. He sought and successfully negotiated paid leave for those who were called for jury duty. Frank volunteered as a pole worker in Westland, assisted in church cleaning his parish church, Ss. Simon and Jude, was an active participant in their book club and enjoyed making an annual retreat at St. Paul's Retreat Center. Frank was knowledgeable about current events and supporting others who had difficulties in life. Frank was kind, generous and celebrated his Hungarian heritage. We will celebrate his life with a viewing and funeral mass at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 32500 Palmer Road, Westland. The viewing will begin on Monday, May 10th, 2021 at 10 am followed with a mass of Christian burial at 11 am. Frank will be buried next to his wife at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West. The family asks that you do a act of kindness for someone else in his memory.
