Eric Paul Noffsinger, 53, of Westland, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, after battling heart complications and lung disease. Eric was born in Garden City and graduated from John Glenn High School in Westland. After High School, Eric studied at Lawrence Technological University, where he earned several certificates that he transitioned into a successful career in the automotive design industry, most recently at Roush Industries in Allen Park. He loved Red Wings hockey, and you often saw Eric skating the local rinks with his favorite number 9 jersey along with family and friends. Outside of work and hockey, Eric enjoyed the outdoors at the family vacation home in Houghton Lake. Boating, fishing, and sitting by the fire were some of the favorite activities. For more extreme action, you may have seen Eric enjoying the thrills of a roller coaster. Eric is survived by his two parents, Paul, and Donna, who loved him more than words can express. He is also survived by his brother David (Carla), sister Amanda (Shane) Cowger and nephew Joshua Cowger, and niece Preslie Cowger. A memorial service will be held at The Uht Funeral Home, 35400 Glenwood Rd, Westland, MI 48186, on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at 2:00PM.
