Elmon Richard Middleton passed away peacefully on Jan. 6th 2026. He was born March 04, 1942 and was raised in Pennington Gap Va.

Elmon and Frankie Jackson started dating in high school and got married in 1965. He and Frankie soon after moved to Chicago, where they managed a motel for 10 years. They had their first son Richard and in 1969 their second son David was born. David proceeded Elmon in death in 2017. They eventually moved to Va. where they owned and operated a coal mine for a while.

In 1972 they moved to Westland, MI. Elmon started a job at Ford Motor Co. He retired from Fords and purchased a farm in Sumpter Twp. He enjoyed putting out a garden, feeding his chickens and watching his 6 great grandchildren play in the yard. He is survived by his wife Frankie, oldest son Richard, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed!
